Firefighting helmet Tytan NEO

III Category personal protective equipment. This helmet offers a wide range of firefighting and other rescue applications. It is also suitable for technical rescues, in the event of road accidents, in the mountains and in water (river use), as well as as a helmet for forest firefighting and water sports.

Complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and the following harmonized standards:
EN 16471: 2014 – Helmets for firefighters. Helmets for fighting forest fires.
EN 16473: 2014 – Helmets for firefighters. Helmets for technical rescue.
EN 397: 2012 – Industrial safety helmets points 5.1.1, 5.1.2 and 5.2.1.
EN 443: 2008 – Helmets for fire fighting in buildings and other structures point 5.13.
EN 1385: 2012 – Helmets for canoeing and water sports, as confirmed by certificate issued by Notified Body n. 0497 CSI S.p.A.

Safety in extreme conditions
Ergonomic and lightweight helmet. Excellent protection parameters, exceptional functionality.
Maximum levels of security. Complete protection at low and high temperatures (-30°C ÷ +50°C):
◗ shock absorption
◗ penetration resistance: steel ball at 120 m/s,
◗ resistance to lateral crushing,
◗ resistance to hot liquid and solid chemical agents,
◗ protection against brief contact with electrical cables (VC up to 440 V).

All external elements of the helmet and the chin straps are flame retardant. Available in the version with panoramic visor or with protective goggles.

Technical features:

  1. Lightweight and durable injection molded helmet shell, available in all colors (including photoluminescent), equipped with reflective bands as standard. An optional mesh ventilation panel is available. Shock absorbing lining for excellent protection.Optional: the helmet can be customized by adding a personalized frieze.
  2. Additional accessories: front lamp holder and anchoring points for the communication system.
  3. Transparent visor – Optical Class 1 visor (complies with visor standards applicable to fire helmets EN 14458:2018, EN 171:2002 and EN 166:2001).
  4. FHR safety goggles with anti-scratch/anti-fog coating (complies with the following standards for personal protective equipment for eyes EN 166: 2001 and EN 170: 2005).
  5. Universal breathing mask and flashlight anchor points. The flashlight anchor point maintains the full range of flashlight position angle even with a respiratory mask attached.
  6. Attachments for noise canceling headphones and protective mesh visor.
  7. Three-point chin strap with buckle. Internal height and circumference (from 47 to 68 cm) for tailor-made fit and stability. Additional accessory – silicone chin strap.
  8. Neck protection in non-flammable fabric.
  9. Large and ergonomic head circumference regulation smooth.

The helmet is also available in a ‘comfort’ version with internal padding and aramid lining.

  • code 80.0202.064 –  TYTAN NEO standard colours ; only with neck protection.
  • code 80.0202.066 –  TYTAN NEO standard colours with FHR goggles and neck protection.
  • code 80.0202.065 –  TYTAN NEO standard colours with standard colours and transparent visor and neck protection.
