The combined rake is a cutting and ground scraping tool very useful for brigades that need versatility in their work. It allows the user to have different options of use without the need of changing the tool.
The tool can serve as a Fire Rake, a McLeod Hoe, a Pulaski Shovel or a Wide Pick. Being made of alloy steel ensures a long service life without the need to re-sharpen the tool.
Its hardness is from 44 to 46 HRc. It has a baked paint finish.
DESIGN AND MATERIALS
Our tool has a handle that can be disassembled from the blade and that can be used in the McLeod Rake. The shovel of the Derki is made of alloy steel especially resistant to wear, not enquiring heat treatments that exert tension on the It has a 1.20 m-long ergonomically-designed handle.
It is a hollow tubular straight fiberglass handle reinforced with resin and extruded with HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) with anti-slip parts. It reduces the transmission of vibration to the user and can be used with other tools in our line.
