Putting out ventilated roof fires is complex, the new construction techniques relating to the insulated ventilated roofs of new energy-saving homes have brought new problems to be addressed and solved. SAFCO piercing nozzles offer operators an effective and above all economical solution to tackle this problem.

Water spray has  the potential to quickly absorb heat from hot flames and smoke reducing the volume of smoke. A colder smoke layer will slow the spread of fire and potentially allow for rapid ventilation of the building. Quick and correct ventilation will reduce toxic gases and the thermal threat to potential victims by reducing smoke damage to the building.
